Mexican Bluewing Butterfly (Myscelia ethusa: Nymphalidae) Closed-wing; wingspan 6.4-7.6 cm (2.5-3.0 in).
Habitat
South Texas Plains vegetation area, Lower Rio Grande Valley, adjacent to Arroyo Colorado, Tamaulipan scrub (reclaimed land from an old dump site) at 6 m (20 ft) elevation.
Location
Hugh Ramsey Nature Park, Harlingen, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA.
