stunning! I just love kingfishers. I think to see a more colorful species than the belted kingfisher near me would be such a thrill! I recently found an article online where a pair of kingfishers were mistaken for hummingbirds, presumably because of their proportions and bright colors (Hummingbird Behavior and Aggression)!

We were on a boat geared for photographers so were able to get pretty close to many animals (especially elephants) and birds.
