Lesser Redpoll

Lesser Redpoll (Carduelis cabaret)

We have had Redpolls visiting the garden for about 2 weeks now, and they always seem to feed on the side of the tree away from the house. So today I decided I would try to creep down the garden path to get a shot from the other side, which was also with the sun behind me. I was so lucky as the bird was so intent on feeding I didn't disturb it.
