after a really fruitless morning trying to get Sanderling on a Busy Beach I broke for lunch and headed to Howth and things didn't look much better for me here either but after trying to get close to a Stonechat Couple I eventually wore them down 2 hours later :p

This is a superb capture of this bird. Sounds like you worked pretty persistently for it. Love the pose and BG and the bird is pin sharp. Well done Clive.
