Klaas's Cuckoo (m) (Chrysococcyx klaas)

Klaas's cuckoo (Chrysococcyx klaas) is a species of cuckoo in the family Cuculidae which is native to the wooded regions of sub-Saharan Africa. The specific name honours Klaas, the Khoikhoi man who collected the type specimen.

Awesome , very elusive bird to photograph, we hear them all the time
I have one shot from afar taken with a 200 mm, heavily cropped on an old Canon, their song very distinctive Afrikaans “meitjie meijtie”
