Juvenile peregrine in flight

Wasn't sure what this was at first but experts on the web thought it was a juvenile peregrine falcon
Habitat
Open farmland near Castle Douglas
Location
South west Scotland
Date taken
19/09/2006
Equipment used
Canon EOS 20D + 100-400mm IS lens
Stuart,

I have to say that that is indeed a juvenile, a cracking shot too.

Tell me Stuart, did you take this photo on autofocus or manual with your 100-400 IS lense? I have just purchased this lense, and was wondering what the best way forward was for birds in flight.
