Java sparrow in Hawaii (Padda oryzivora)

This little bird, sometimes called the Java rice finch, is another of the many introduced songbirds that are widespread in Oahu. The occupant of a neighboring condo was scattering bird seed for the birds daily, and this afforded me the opportunity to photograph this individual.
