Jackdaw

Jackdaw (Coloeus monedula)

I have mixed feelings about Jackdaws as they invade our garden every day and eat all the fat balls.
I couldn't resist photographing this one though as it posed so nicely.
If they could just take it in turns and limit themselves to 2 Jackdaws a day, I'd be happy.

Excellent detailed portrait of this jackdaw.
Even I was surprised to see the siskins with a youngster in our garden.

A handsome beastie Graham and I love this head turn you caught too. I've a feeling your ones have more pale grey plumage than ours do?

You've a marvellous picture of him Graham - thanks my friend.

Beautiful capture of this handsome bird...We have the same problem here Mac, but they do seem to prefer peanuts over fatballs in our tiny urban gatrden
