Italian sparrow (Passer italiae). Once very common and now it is rare to meet them. The cause of the decline is not entirely clear, but perhaps the audio of this video explains why. Sparrows and chicken coops lived in symbiosis and now there are hardly any more chicken coops ...

A fine video of these sparrows. Fingers crossed their population bounces back. Maybe they will turn up in Poland one day (Berlin seems to have had one individual for the last two years). By the way, isn't chickens' 'symbiosis' with sparrows a bit lopsided? ;)
