Hooded Oriole (Icterus cucullatus)

Sadly the last of the orioles left yesterday. The bees took over the sugar water feeders with the larger feeder ports so I had to replace them with the bee guards. I'll sure miss the birds but they'll return next year and I know I've given them a good start for their journey.

Such a beautiful image of this Oriole Vicki. That backdrop compliments it so well.

Very pretty bird. Sad they're gone but beautiful things to look forward to in the spring. I notice our hummer visits here have dropped off dramatically. I'll miss them also.
Very nice photo.

Beautiful image as always Vicki...I'm sure your birds love and appreciate the help you give them all.

Lovely capture, Vicki, with beautiful earthtone colors and superb detail. So sad about the Orioles leaving. Our Barn Swallows left on August 17th, so I know what you're going through. Thanks for sharing.
