I've been to Spain and Portugal before and may well have seen Spanish Sparrows without realizing it, but I'd never reported one in eBird, so in that sense this one counts as a lifer.

Now back to browsing. WiFi at the hotel where we're staying tonight is a bit iffy, so I thought I'd post while I'm on, then hopefully finish browsing before I lose the connection.

Oh, and just for honesty's sake: I did NOT get photos, and certainly not share-worthy ones, of all 40 lifers that trip.

they do winter in my country and in the west side most numbers, but very few in Jeddah, got him in my garden only once and yes if one don't look carefully can assume they are just another sparrow.
