Graceful bush stone-curlew (Burhinus grallarius)

I think bush stone-curlews usually have a seemingly "startled" or "unimpressed" expression in pictures, but this one looked graceful as it preened itself. They are not very rare in Brisbane but they are endearing and iconic birds. (edited for brightness)
