Golden Tortoise Beetle
Golden Tortoise Beetle (Charidotella sexpunctata: Chrysomelidae) 5-7 mm (0.2-0.3 in) long.
Habitat
Tropical montane broadleaf forest (cloud forest) at 843 m (2,766 ft) elevation; slope of an extinct volcano caldera.
Location
Macarena Road, just north of El Valle de Antón, Coclé Province, Panamá.
