Glassy-winged Sharpshooter (Homalodisca vitripennis: Cicadellidae) 1.1-1.4 cm (0.43-0.55 in) long. Photographed on a Common Sunflower stem (Helianthus annuus).
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area. Upland dominated by post oak and yaupon at 73 m (185 ft) elevation.
