From tip to toe (Anser anser)

tripod; -0.67 EV; 1/200s; f/5.6; ISO 400
Wishing to improve my panning technique, I dedicated some time to shooting birds flying across my field of view.
Timing is essential, so my collection of beheaded birds, bills and tails has grown enormously ;)

Isola della Cona (Gorizia - NE Italy)
Date taken
03-01-2007
Scientific name
Anser anser
Equipment used
Canon 20D; Canon EF 400mm f/5.6 + TC 1.4x
This one is fabulous Max! Excellent flight shot!....Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic Pan brilliant photo...... looks Like the Doc of the Avian World coming round Brents Hatch (sorry couldnt resist :d )

Practise, practise and more practise, that is all you can do. You need the fastest shutter speed you can get to minimise wing-blur and make use of the continous shooting mode to capture the right moment. Congratulations on a good shot with plenty of detail.

From tip to toe i am shivering with rage-how could you ,how could to put up such a excellent picture-Gmax-GRRRR-lovely one my friend and my turban off for you(lol). Thanks for sharing.
