Foot inspection
I can't see a see in the Coal Tit's toes, so if that's not it, I don't know what was so interesting about his feet!!

I bet there was a remnant of some kind of treat. It is too focused for their not to have been, unless it has a foot fetish (lol). First-rate D! TFS!
 
Maybe what it's pecking at is just too small to see from this angle, Deli! I can't think what else it can be doing.
We have a Coal Tit visiting the garden daily now but it's eluded my camera so far. I'm just pleased to see it.
