Flamingos in city

Flamingos visit Surat regularly in April and May.They have adapted in this city witch has 4 million population.This year flamingos are in good number around 500-600.All budding photographers visit river Tapi to click them.

Beautiful setting & shot of these lovely waders, doctor!! Did visit Surat last year in Feb, but didn't find any. However, I do go to Sewree Creek whenever I visit Mumbai, where there is no dearth of these guys almost during the entire year.

Considering in my neighborhood I'm surrounded mostly by sparrows, crows, and wagtails ... the thought of flamingos is so extremely exotic! LOL!
