Eurasian Eagle owl study (Bubo bubo)

A Eurasian eagle owl study I`ve painted from life in a Raptor rehabilitation center today in the morning. This large female has been hit by a car last year but meanwhile recovered well and will be soon released in the wild. The first eagle owl from life in colour after years!

Oh goodness!!! She looked like a 'normal' owl type until you get down to those powerful feet!!! I wouldn't like to be the wrong side of them LOL

I'm so pleased to hear that she's made a good recovery and will soon be flying free.
