Egyptian Ducks at Canyon Lake, Texas?

I believe these are Egyptian Ducks. Does anyone know for sure? I am not sure why they are in central Texas.

These are actually Egyptian Geese (Alopochen aegyptiacus). Wild North American populations have resulted from escapes (or deliberate releases) from private collections, zoos and such. The Egyptan Goose is common in Africa and there is an introduced population in Europe. Let's hope they don't become a pest species in this country. Nice photo!
