Cosy pair
Long-billed Corellas form monogamous pairs. Although native, they are considered a pest bird in many areas, destroying crops and digging large holes in golf courses. Some areas distribute permits for shooting in order to keep numbers down.

How can such lovely lookers be classed as pests....mind you Kerrie, if I was still playing golf I'd probably have a shotgun as my 14th club! Lovely capture.
 
But how could you shoot something so beautiful, and with that pleading look in its eyes???

Lovely capture Kerrie, Many years ago back in the eighties I was admonished by a farmer up in Tully for not shooting at a large flock of Red-tailed Black Cockatoos . Nothing changes
