Lucky you. A wonderful find. Excellent capture of this cute nighthawk. Probably not the usual place but I do not know.
 
Doc Duck
Was s/he already blinded by the sun when s/he chose that spot to rest through the day? They usually find a spot where they blend in to the point of invisibility.
