6 O'clock Shadow (Robin)

When the wood first started getting quite, decided to find out what went on early in the morning. Set up about 5-45am and this Robin watched my every move, bursting into song on occasions, Settled down and of course Rob was the first for some food!! The sun was just rising and I loved the way it caught the Robin. Full frame with extended border.

Nothing better than getting up early in the morning to see what's going on, my favourite time of the day. Thanks for reminding me why I do it. Great shot.

Particularly like the lighting in this one. There is also a good deal of harmony in the over-all composition. Ev's are right in there and it has resulted in good tone and colour saturation without loss of contrast. Good image. :t: :t: :t: cheers B :)

That's a wonderful shot from your magical wood Ken. Well worth the early rise. :t::t:

I wish early mornings would last at least 5 hours,Ken. A lovely Robin shot with great lighting. Nice. :t:
