White-collared Swift (Streptoprocne zonaris)

Heard then eventually saw a few of these wonderful birds walking to the waterfall at Lindo from Mindo in Ecuador. They were tucked away in darkness (hence very difficult to photograph) on a steep bank just above the rushing water.

These are beautiful swifts. Their size alone is impressive, even though this obviously is rather hard to judge from a photo...
