Yep I've been at it again today, these Jays are usually a bit wary, but this one was very tame. D6o + 600mm and 12mm extension tube to get minimum focus closer.

Great photo.
I think the Jay has such intelligent looking eyes.
I read somewhere that several varieties of oak depend on Jays for their survival.
