The Pantanal guardian (Chauna torquata)

This is a Southern Screamer. In Pantanal it is also known as "sentinela do Pantanal" - Pantanal guardian. A size of a turkey, often perches on the top of the trees and screams loudly when it perceives the danger. Often warning other animals about the hunters. The hunting is now forbidden in Pantanal but the bird continues to advise animals about the approaching humans.
