Heh-heh! Of COURSE it's a nuthatch! Its head is facing downward as it pokes around the tree trunk for food. I rarely see these birds with their heads up and tails down!

Nice habitat shot of this nuthatch!

They come to the feeder on my porch too - have to be facing downward at least 95% of the time!
