My wife and I found this Golden Eagle on a power pole in the high desert south of our town. I dislike birding by vehicle, but she likes a drive, so I went out there with her. One of my only series of a Golden Eagle, though if one does this, they are not hard to locate, as are many other Raptors.
Habitat
Sagebrush Steppe, (Sagebrush, Rabbit Brush, Bitter Brush on occasion, native and non-native grasses, especially the detested Cheat Grass.)

Orchard Id, South of Boise, USA.
