Pointed Phlox
Pointed Phlox (Phlox cuspidata: Polemoniaceae) This native annual can grow up to 25 cm (10 in) tall. Its showy flowers are ca. 1.7 cm (0.67 in) across but flower numbers makes up for its small size.
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area. Upland dominated by post oak and yaupon at 73 m (185 ft) elevation.
