Common Redpoll (male) (Acanthis flammea)

I like the fact that we've had a lot of snow this winter. It's been a bit too cold at times but rather that than a grey and rainy winter. It's great for photography too.

Large flocks of Repolls tend to stick to the treetops, alders mostly, but sometimes small groups come to the feeders.
