New drinker
Down the road at the Craighall feeders; when we have an empty coconut, we put it atop the gate post (it has a bit of a hole at the top where the wood has rotted) and put some water in it (if I've got some in the car). Otherwise it might be some seeds.

It wasn't there for long when a Coal Tit came by

Looks like this little cutie is appreciative of a quick drink. Love the water droplet from the bottom of its bill. Excellent eye contact, pose, slight head turn, and setting. TFS D!
 
I wish I could offer water to my birds here, but in winter it would quickly freeze solid so they're probably better off eating snow. And in summer, it rains so much they hardly need other options than puddles and waterways.

You do have heat waves sometimes though Ann LOL... remember it well!!!

I used to provide water here, but they didn't ever use it for drinking or washing. It just ended up full of poop. I don't bother now,
