Widow Skimmer (Libellula luctuosa: Libellulidae) female. 4.2-5.0 cm (1.7-2.0 in) long.
Habitat
Edwards Plateau vegetation area. Lake margin lined with black willow and herbaceous aquatic plants at 173 m (568 ft) elevation. The lake is damed from Decker Creek.
Location
Walter Long Lake State Park, Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA.
