Bristle Fly (Clyindromyia sp.: Tachinidae) 6-8 mm (0.24-0.31 in) long. Perched on Black-eyed-Susan (Rudbeckia hirta: Asteraceae).
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetation area. Upland dominated by post oak and yaupon at 73 m (185 ft) elevation.
Location
Lick Creek Park, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
