Upland, open oak/yaupon woods at ca. 88 m (289 ft). Small butterfly garden dominated by Turk’s Cap (Malvaviscus arborea var. drummondii: Malvaceae).

Lick Creek Nature Center, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
