Eastern Ospreys
The Osprey with the fish had been disturbed at its feeding perch by pedestrians walking past. As it flew around waiting for the area to clear it was joined for a couple of minutes by a second bird. There was also a third Osprey in the area but it didn't join up with these birds.

Do yours stay in pairs during the winter do you know? I know yours are resident like ours, which migrate to Africa. However, I think yours start breeding much earlier in the season than our ones do, so may have already started. Very complicated LOL
