Least bittern with a fish
Another of those elusive birds of the wetlands that for some reason have been almost ubiquitous lately...seems I find at least two out in the open every weekend I visit the wetlands. This one strolled out into the sun to snag a fish, right on the bank of a reed island 35 feet from me. This one appeared to be a juvenile.
