One of my favorite Herons and you captured this one on a strange perch ;) It really stands out beautifully surrounded by that cloudy, blue sky. Your Gallery is off to a great start Gracie!

That’s stunning Gracie - excellent colour composition - with the foliage in the background picking up the colours in the plumage. It looks as if the light was quite stormy and dramatic - inspiration for the artists.
