Great Great Owl At Tommy Thompson Park (aka The Leslie Street Spit) (Strix nebulosa)

A number of years ago Great Grey Owls came to Tommy Thompson park. Apparently, there was a shortage of food up north that winter and we got lucky. Unfortunately, my first digital camera had a horrible zoom, so this is the best photo I could get.

Another great woodland picture you've taken Ingrid.

Many thanks for showing it to us lassie.

BTW the Gallery Search is not working properly at the moment and is only picking up items in the Tags field (the luggage label). It would be extremely helpful if you could enter some yourself when uploading your images. Scientific name, Common Name and the Location (county/state/country) are rather essential. Anything else you wish to add would be a bonus. I hope you can help with this

This is quite impressive Ingrid. This owl certainly demands a presence (lol)! Congratulations!
