Cooling off ... (Passer domesticus)

Back in June, the weather was quite hot for a while. Also, with nesting just finished, I think the birds had a lot of fleas, mites, and lice to get rid of. All in all, the new water lily pond under construction at Ringve Botanical Garden was a popular place for birds and birders. This day (June 26) it was mostly House Sparrows bathing.
