Eastern-eyed Click Beetle (Alaus occulatus: Elateridae) 2.5-4.5 cm long.
Habitat
City Park with an impoundment. Remnant hardwood woodlands with a narrow band of wetlands surrounding the impoundment at ca. 91 m (300 ft) elevation.

John Crompton Park, College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
