Not ready yet... (Psilopogon haemacephalus)

This coppersmith was at the banyan tree testing all the fruits. However, it was not taking a bite. Clearly they know when the fruits are ready to eat. A couple of days later, they were gorging on the fuits.

As you can see, it was warm day and the barbet was keeping its bill open the whole time.

I love that yellow eye ring he has .... they're really colourful birds, aren't they.

A super picture this Sandeep; it shows him in such a pretty setting too.
