Gulf Prairies and Marshes vegatational area. Dense Tamaulipan scrub surrounded by cropland or coastal prairie and marsh at ca. 4 m (13 ft) elevation. Watering hole at headquarters.

Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge, Cameron County, Texas, USA.
