Northern Harrier (Marsh Hawk) (Circus hudsonius)

This perch overlooking our pond has been used by both the Barred Owls, and this Marsh Hawk. Please let me know if I've miss-identified. I've looked at many pics, and I believe it is a Marsh Hawk, but it may be a Coopers Hawk. I'm sure someone here knows. Educate me. I'll edit the post if I'm wrong.

That's a super picture you've taken of this harrier Belleswell.

I've now changed the scientific name you used, as the species was split recently, and your one is now Circus hudsonius.... hope you don't mind.

Thank you so much Delia Todd. I'm therefore assuming that I named it correctly as a Northern Harrier (Marsh Hawk). I thought I saw this one the other day with a large mouse or mole, (probably a mole as the spot it made the kill was right next to a mole hill), it had landed on top of and then flew off with. Great to see something get the moles as our 3 acre yard we mow is rife with mole hills.
