They have such intricate feathering, don't they Stanley, I love the pale feather edges.

a beautiful photo of this lovely wader, Stanley!!! I've seen them a few times in the US and Canada but I'm more familiar with its eastern counterpart the sharp-tailed sandpiper. Great job, many tfs!!!
