Saturday fun..... (Pieris rapae)

..... or I'm off!

As you will know, I don't actually get pictures of butterflies very often, but there were quite a few get-at-able ones where my brother is.

This one was on his buddleia and after sitting for me to get a few of him sipping the nectar, she took exception to my presence and I got my first ever butterfly flight shot.....

..... but only just!!

Feel your pain, always missing shots, the camera and user just isn't up the the job, guess like me you use auto mode which i,ve been told will never work, so once i tried manual but the come out dark or white, i,m sticking to walking the dog lol.

Lol the joys of auto mode, my friend uses manual control and the work ten times better but you need to know the ins and outs of the settings, think like most here just hits the button, lol hope for the best photography.

Think i make a website and call it hit and hope images by Bob.

Always thought these creatures are stunning but we are making them look crud, if i was that butterfly I be so mad, people hates bad portraits of themselves I guess. funny tho.

Firsts are always happy moments when it comes to nature and you succeeded very well getting it D.
