Red-and-white giant flying squirrel
The red-and-white giant flying squirrel is the largest flying squirrel in the world, which is as long as one meter! Thus the local name of this species is "Fei Mao", which means "Flying cat" in Chinese. We came across this cute and tame animal during one spotlighting, and it was licking minerals from the rock cliff.
