Oystercatcher & chick

Been watching these nesting on the small island at my fishing lake over the last few weeks.
It's quite a bare island so the parents have had a bit of a job protecting the nest from marauding gulls, herons etc, but they've managed to hatch 2 chicks which are now running about and feeding themselves.
The nettles and thistles are up enough now for them to hide in but they are still quite exposed.
They're going to need a bit of luck I reckon!
