Golden-Crowned Sparrow (Zonotrichia atricapilla)

Taken near the Sundial Bridge (Redding, CA, USA).

Yeah we see these out at home all the time, a very common LBJ. But part of the fun of the photography is not just getting pretty photos of new birds, but taking photos of birds I've already seen in environments that are new, like being on vacation 200 miles from home.

I liked the setting and "in the weeds with the bird" feel on this one.
