Spotted Eagle Owls (Bubo africanus)

These birds were so well camouflaged that they did not even try to hide themselves. I drove past and only noticed them when one moved his head slightly and opened his eyes. The photo is cropped and the birds were relatively small in relation to the tree.

What luck. Certainly well camouflaged so good spotting. Excellent shot.
