Down the hatch!
... after a very brief struggle the enormous mullet disappeared down the cormorant's throat -- altering the shape of the whole bird.

It couldn't raise its body out of the water afterwards... just swam around with its distended neck above water.

Thanks Brian -- I missed the killer shot of him upending the fish and swallowing it -- I figured I had longer before he could manoeuvre the fish into position and took my eye off him to check the previous shots... by the time I got the camera back up and in focus there was only the tail left.
