Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula Arctica)

I visited Bempton Cliffs (RSPB Reserve) recently with Ivan Ellison. We could not have picked a worse day weather wise ...sea fog , wind and rain etc. However Puffins do not often land close for full framers and I'm glad that this one did. The shooting angle over the cliff was too steep for getting the arty shots with Red Campion blurring into the image but this could only be done hand holding the lens at ISO 800. In order to get better image quality I went to ISO 200 but no Red Campion:( . The bird did oblige with a wing stretch though:)

Wow, brilliant closeup of this beauty doing its wing span on command (lol). Gorgeous work Adrian!!!!

You don't see many of these in Salford Mr A. |:p| Shame the weather for your visit wasn't great but you've come away with some fine shots. Love the early morning stretch!

The Sea Parrot is performing nicely for you so you have nothing to complain about,Adrian!! ;); I'd be happy to just see one mate.

How lovely it is to see Puffin pictures coming in again. They don't get much better than this one Adrian.
